James Kamau nominated in Me To We competition

It seems that when our Kenyans achieve, they do such a phenomenal job that more than one person wants to recognize their outstanding achievement.

Jame KamauJames Kamau, Founder and Executive Director of the Youth Initiative Canada has been nominated in the Social Action portion of the ‘Me to We’ competition.

In 2005, brothers and Me to We founders Craig and Marc Kielburger teamed up with Canadian Living magazine to celebrate true heroes by creating the first ever Canadian Living Me to We Awards.

Now in its seventh year, the Canadian Living Me to We Awards shine the spotlight on ordinary Canadians making an extraordinary difference in the world–thinking less about me and more about we. Led by Canadian Living editor-in-chief, Susan Antonacci, Craig and Marc Kielburger, and Me to We Director Russ McLeod, the Me to We Awards have brought dozens of extraordinary Canadian heroes into the public spotlight.

Here are some articles that showcase his work:

You can help James win in that category by voting for him.  Voting ends tomorrow, so let us do all we can to support his great work.   The category he is nominated in recognizes an individual who has addressed the root causes of social, environmental, economic or political issues and, in doing so, has made Canada a better place.  To vote visit the Me To We website.
