Clare Muhoro is an Associate Professor of organic chemistry at Towson University in Towson, a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. She received her B.Sc. (1993) from St. Lawrence University (magna cum laude), and her Ph.D. (1999) from Yale University. She was previously an assistant professor at Shippensburg University where she led the students in fieldwork study trips to Ecuador to help them understand how connected the world really is.
She is researching Novel Syntheses and Applications of Phosphorus- and Boron-Containing Bifunctional Ligands, and Mechanisms of Decomposition of Organic Pesticides in Aqueous Environments, and has published several articles.
